Short Circuit - "Come and Follow Me" (with lyrics)
"Come and Follow Me", by Max Carl and Marcy Levy. The song played during the ending credits of the 1986 film, "Short Circuit". The soundtrack for Short Circuit was never published, and neither was this song. I do not own this song or Short Circuit. Great movie, though! I added the lyrics below, since no one on the web seems to have the correct ones. Feel free to point out any mistakes you may find.

IamRobotMonkey I loved Short Circuit and I’m writing a story based on the Stephen King movie, Dr. Sleep. I don’t know if you have ever seen that movie, but a young boy dies a horrific death at the hands of a vampire cult called the True Knot. People who hurt children anger me very much, and I portray Johnny Five coming to the rescue, because I wanted to portray him as a hero and friend to an otherwise helpless child. In no way am I trying to steal anyone’s work, but I sometimes like to think about “What if someone came along and rescued the child?”.
I loved this movie, but I can’t stand to watch the scene in Short Circuit 2 where Johnny Five gets beat up. If he’d still had his laser, he’d have had a better chance of defending himself.
When Number Five reveals himself alive and well, I cried happy tears as a 6 years old kid. God I loved this movie.

Yes I’m here in 2024. This and The Money Pit are truly underrated movies that both came out in the same year. This song is great and so is the song The Heart Is So Willing by Stephen Bishop which was the theme song to The Money Pit and that song never got proper release either.
@@user-cr8dq7sc6h I love both those 1986 films, and you're right, the closing songs to both movies are so sweet and uplifting, and leave you in a good mood as you leave the theater (or however you watch the movie).

I know this is just a song, but... Sooo many memories.. it was my FIRST song in my life that I loved so much ❤❤ I watched this movie SOO MANY TIMES and when titles comes on the screen I turn up the audio soo loud and my mum was like... There was a soundtrack because I had it on cassette 😆 I loved this movie when I was a kid and I showed it to my 5 year old son over holiday. This little movie had it all: comedy, romance, action...still love to see Johnny Five save the day and make a fool out of Corp clowns 😂
I saw this movie today, and it still shocks me a lot. I’ll be sad if Number 5 dies in the end. Luckily he didn't. It's so smart to create a fake one to cheat other people.
